Wednesday September 15th, 2004,

MTL for Eclipse is an Eclipse Plugin design to help you developping BasicMTL applications under the Eclipse environment.

MTL For Eclipse provides a set of platform extension contributions (views, editors, perspectives, etc.) that collectively streamline the process of developing MTL models transformations inside the workbench. It uses the BasicMTL Compiler

MTL Plugin offers a graphic interface for all main MTL Compiler functions:

-  Syntax coloring. Coloring is user-configurable through preferences. Coloring is performed for ordinary MTL File. Code assist. Assistance is provided for elements like keywords and functions

-  Compilation. A file may be compiled on demand or when the document is saved or in the background while you edit. (You no longer need to write ant scripts) Compilation errors are displayed in the source. You can generate an Ant script from your configuration for use outside of Eclipse.

-  Outline view. The outline view shows the structure of the elements in your file. By default, the outline is dynamically synchronized with editing.

-  Project viewer. (Experimental) This view helps you to browse all the classes involved in your project.

Easy installation using the Eclipse update system. See the download section.
